With the first month of 2018 already in the rear-view mirror and our first POA meeting of the year just completed, there are quite a number of items to report on to keep you up to date with the latest Estate happenings.
Water is of course the trending topic and nowhere more so than at CAF where we are busy exploring and managing all alternative water resources to best benefit the Estate and to contribute to being water wise Capetonians.
The CAFPOA agenda included discussions on the budget for the new fiscal year, security, landscaping, maintenance and feedback from the Developer on the program status of various phases of the development.
The minutes and financial reports from this meeting are available to Property Owners on request from the Estate office.
The Trustees concluded that the monthly Property Owners' levy will not be increased for the 2018 budget period.
Plan perusal cost for submission of Building plans to the Controlling Architect will increase to R6 270 and R 3 135 inclusive of VAT for Rider plans respectively, Landscaping Plan perusal cost will increase to R3 135 inclusive of VAT.
The continued training of our current Security staff complement of 14, have been extended to include first aid and firefighting. Budget approval for equipment upgrades such as the acquisition of digital radios and a Golf Cart for additional mobility are in pace with the requirements of the Estate.
Five additional cameras covering roads and public open spaces were added to our security surveillance system. Systems and protocols are continuously evaluated to ensure the high standard required for CAF.
The CAF Security Operations Room, manned by the senior security officer on duty, is available at 021 110 5299 at all times for any security related matters and the reporting of other incidents like water leaks etc.
