Clara Anna Fontein Newsletter - August 2018
Here we are with the 10th edition of the Clara Anna Fontein Newsletter to bring you the current news and keeping you up to date with the latest Estate happenings.
The first half of this year has passed so quickly and if the pace of activities at CAF is any indication, the second half is going to be even busier. Despite much better rains than the last couple of years, we experienced a drier than usual July with warmer days which has caused early blossoming of the plum trees on the Werf.
Landscaping around the Werf is in full swing to compliment the development of the Estate amenities and a major clean-up is underway.
The AGM took place at Reddam House auditorium on the 13th June 2018. The main topics raised included the development status and program of the Werf, the Village as well as the Landscaping. We report on several of these issues in this edition of the Newsletter. The Minutes, Audited Financial Statements and other documentation relevant to the AGM are available to Property Owners on the CAF Glovent Smart Phone App.
We are pleased to announce an addition to our staff compliment at CAF in the person of Liesel Jacoby. She will contribute substantial skills and experience to our team in the position of Office Administrator. Please come and visit us during office hours at the newly completed Administrative Offices right next door to the Clubhouse.
The Security staff compliment of 14 under the leadership of Supervisor Leon Fillis, have been upgraded to B-Grade Security Officers. We are still in the process of acquiring a Golf Cart for additional mobility, while Zone Watch provide vehicular patrol and response back-up.
Property Owners requiring Biometric registering can have this done at the Security Office at the Main entrance, from Monday to Friday, 09h00-16h00, and by the Security Shift Leader over weekends.
